Todo lo que necesitas saber sobre el nuevo Certificado Digital Verde que permitirá reactivar los viajes

Se espera que el nuevo pasaporte sanitario estará disponible este verano y facilitará la movilidad entre los países de la Unión Europea. Esta propuesta de la Comisión Europea constituirá una herramienta clave para facilitar la entrada a otros países de la UE, unificando criterios, pruebas y documentos. ¿Qué es el Certificado Digital Verde? Es una acreditación donde constará si una persona ha sido vacunada contra la Covid-19, se ha recuperado del virus o se ha realizado una prueba con resultado negativo. Sin embargo, no será una condición previa para la libertad de movimiento, pero se espera que ayude a levantar las restricciones de manera coordinada a medida que avance la vacunación. Esto significa que las personas que no se hayan vacunado también podrán acceder a este certificado, pues en él constará la información sobre pruebas de RT-PCR o test de antígenos, o si ya han pasado la Covid-19 y tienen anticuerpos. ¿Quién podrá acceder a él? Todos los ciudadanos de la UE y sus familiares, con independencia de su nacionalidad; nacionales de otros países que residan en la UE y visitantes que tengan derecho a viajar a otros Estados miembros. ¿Cómo se podrá obtener? Las autoridades de cada país serán las encargadas de la expedición del certificado. Podrían ser emitidos por los hospitales, centros de pruebas o autoridades sanitarias. ¿Dónde será válido? En todos los países miembro de la UE y estarían abiertos a Islandia, Liechtenstein, Noruega y Suiza. ¿Qué formato tendrá? El nuevo pasaporte sanitario contará con una versión digital que estaría almacenada en un dispositivo móvil, y también se podrá solicitar una versión en papel.
